First days of classes...
Well, day three of classes are over and so far so good. I'll be taking a total of 15 hours this semester, 3 of those hours will be an online class. This online class will be my first official online class. The reason why I say official because I have had classes where we still meet in person but we do a fair amount of work online for the class (ex. quizes, tests, exams, assignments, and discussions). As for the non-online classes, 9 of those hours are retakes and the last 3 I needed to take in order to be a full-time student. The retakes I believe that as long as I stay consistent and don't fall behind I should be fine. As for the class that I'm taking to stay a full-time student, well it should be fun since it is a basic guitar class. I'm pumped about this because I'm learning how to play the guitar and I'm getting college credit for it. If I would have just did private lessons at a local music store, I heard that it would cost $45 an hour for one lesson a week. So to get the same number of hours that I will be putting into for this guitar class, it would have cost $2025 dollars for the semester. And by making a rough estimation from tuition, this class is costing $600-$700 for the semester. So if you look at it like that, I'm getting not too bad of a deal.
This coming weekend is Labor weekend, and that means college football. I'm really pumped about going to a Texas Aggie football game because I haven't been to one for a couple of years. Plus I get to hang out with one of my cousins and a good friend of mine. The only thing that could make the weekend better would be no school work, but that isn't likely. Oh well, I'll survive.
So that brings ya' up to speed on what's been going on.
